Butterflies
Monarch Butterflies are always present in our garden, and when they are ready to grow wings, they will attach to the weirdest places.
If you see a little green cocoon with a band of gold dots, keep it safe, and don't move it!
They know where they want to pupate!
Monarchs have two official overwintering locations in nearby Balboa Park, and one possible unofficial one in our giant cactus.
