Established in 1981, Juniper Front Community Garden is one of the oldest community gardens in San Diego, providing a greenbelt in the culturally and economically diverse urban neighborhood of Bankers Hill, just north of downtown San Diego.

Join us at a monthly work party to help clean up community areas and keep the garden looking great. Work parties are usually held on the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. Bring your own gloves, sun protection, and please sign the waiver.

Become a Member
Members must actively tend their assigned garden plots year-round using organic gardening methods only. Members must also pay dues and do volunteer work to help maintain community areas. The waitlist is three to four years long.
